In my design, functional spaces like the shoe storage, shrine, and display area integrate seamlessly beside the kitchen. This opens up a vast area sequentially planned for a piano, storage, living, and dining areas. A recurring three-dimensional arc design element ties together the floor plan, facade, and ceiling, incorporating an air conditioning vent and indirect lighting. This cohesive design imbues the entire space with rhythm and continuity.

Considering the use of existing furniture, material, and color coordination was pivotal. Light and dark stones, varying in texture, adorn the floors and TV wall, enhancing glossiness and accentuating the organic flow of the free-flowing arcs. Different from standard paint, fabric walls offer elasticity and softness to the dining and TV areas.

The overall direction of the space embraces brightness and simplicity, reflecting the home's resilience through uninterrupted arcs. The integration of the owners' collections and life traces infuses a naturally beautiful atmosphere throughout the home.

Meet our family of four—a couple with two daughters—who emphasized the need for a shrine at our first meeting. They favor rounded, open areas over angular ones and have a penchant for white spaces and stone elements.
